Science Proves Prophet Muhammad’s Sunnah Prevents Brain Damage in New Borns

As we have discussed previously, the scientifically proven sunnah of Prophet Muhammad PBUH, the sunnah of Tahnik, has also been proven by science to prevent brain damage in newborns.

What is Tahnik?

Prophet Muhammad PBUH made Tahnik a mandatory sunnah for newborns. Tahnik is the process of putting a piece of Data in your mouth until it gets soft and then rubs it onto the upper part of the mouth of the newborn.

After 1,400 yearsScience proves Tahnik Sunnah Prevents Brain Damage in NewBorns

Experts say that a dose of sugar given as a gel to babies is rubbed inside the cheek of premature babies to protect them in an effective and cheap way to provide protection against brain damage.

Low blood sugar dangerously affects one in 10 babies which are born early. It can cause permanent harm if it is not treated.

The gel therapy was tested in 242 babies under the researchers and it is said that now it should be the first-line treatment, According to researchers from New Zealand. Their work is published in the lancet

SUGAR DOSE

It is said by Prof Jane and her team at the University of Auckland that per baby, the cost of dextrose gel treatment is over £1, and it is simpler to administer than glucose through a drip.Currently, the treatment includes more feeding and continuous blood tests to measure the levels of blood sugar.

Most of the babies are admitted to extra and intensive care. They are provided intravenous glucose because their blood sugar is low, and doctors Often call it hypoglycemia. The study estimated if treatment with dextrose gel was more beneficial than feeding alone at reversing hypoglycemia.

These procedures suggested that it should be considered a treatment even though Dextrose gel had fallen into disuse, as Neil Marlow said from the institute for Women’s health at University College of London.

He also said that he had high-quality proof that it was valuable.According to new research, it is an exciting piece. The researchers welcome everything that can provide better outcomes and results for sick and premature born babies. As said by the chief executive of a premature baby charity called Andy Cole.

This is a cost-effective treatment and could lessen the admissions towards high care services that are working at high capacity levels. There is yet more research to be done for the implementation of this treatment. However still, its early results show advantages to premature babies who have low blood sugar by birth.

3 Miracles Of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) at Cave of Thawr

Thawr cave is located in the latter part of Makkah. Jabal Thawr is known for the famous miracles that had happened during Muhammad (PBUH)’s Hijrah.

People of Arabia had plotted great trouble in the path of Muhammad (PBUH) during his eight years of Prophethood. At that time, Quraish of Makkah was the biggest enemy of Muhammad (PBUH). 622AD was the first year of Hijrah, Hijrah means migration. When Muhammad (PBUH) ordered all the Muslims to migrate from one city to another.

1. Quraish Master Minded A Murder Plan Of Muhammad (PBUH)

As the migration to Makkah begins, Quraish plotted a murder trap for Muhammad (PBUH). While Muhammad (PBUH) was asleep on his bed, through Allah’s guidance he was escaped successfully and left little Ali Ibn Abi Talib (RA) behind. Then he went to the Cave of Thawr.

The most loyal friend of Muhammad (PBUH) was Abu Bakar (RA), he left him in Makkah. Quraish sent the hitmen to kill Muhammad (PBUH) and Abu Bakr (RA). Somehow, Muhammad (PBUH) and Abu Bakar (RA) got to know about this and decided to stay in the cave.

2. Muhammad (PBUH) Encountering A Snake in Cave of Thawr!

Before going into the cave, Abu Bakar (RA) cleaned the cave before Muhammad (PBUH) enters into it. There were a lot of Snake pits which was tried to covered by a piece of clothing by Abu Bakr (RA). There was only one snake pit which was left open mistakenly. Muhammad (PBUH) was so tired that he decided to rest in Abu Bakr (RA)’s lap. The Snake put which was left open was later covered by Abu Bakr (RA) with his foot.

The snake pit which Abu Bakr (RA) was covered with his foot was bitten by Snake. He did not take his foot out of that snake pit as he knew Muhammad (PBUH) was sleeping, the pain caused by the snake bite was so strong that the tears have started coming out of his eyes and when tears dropped on the cheek of Muhammad (PBUH) he woke up.

Upon knowing the snake has bitten him, Muhammad (PBUH) rubbed his saliva on the place where the snake had bitten Abu Bakr (RA), then Abu Bakr (RA) started feeling relaxed and pain had gone away within few mins! And Muhammad (PBUH) and Abu Bakr (RA) later stayed in the Cave for 3 days and 3 nights.

3. Spiders and Pigeons Helped Muhammad (PBUH)

At one point, Quraish hit men almost entered the cave, but a miracle happened!

Snake and Pigeon gave the cave a look which seems as if nobody enters into this cave, but Muhammad (PBUH) and Abu Bakr (RA) was resting into that cave! Spider knit it’s the web as Pigeons laid the eggs and gave this place a look as if no human has ever entered in this cave!

Later, Muhammad (PBUH) and Abu Bakr (RA) successfully made their way towards Madinah. Subhan Allah! Let us know how do you feel after reading about all these miracles in the comments below.

The Full and Complete Isra and Miraj Story, The Night Journey!

Miraj is one of the most talked-about events in Islam. Isra and Miraj are the two parts of the night of Journey which our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) took.

About Isra and Miraj it is being mentioned in surah al-Isra. In Isra, the first part of the night, Jibrael came to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and then he rode on the Buraq, which is larger than a donkey and smaller than a mule. On buraq he traveled from Makkah (Masjid al-Haram) to Al-Aqsa Mosque in just a second, to be noted, the distance between these two destinations is 1239.42 KM and takes around 1 hour and 52 minutes if you travel from Airplane, but our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) completed it in just a few seconds.

Now, in the other part of the night, which is Miraj, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) traveled to the 7th heaven, and on each heaven, he met the following people;

  • 1st Heaven met Adam (AS)
  • 2nd Heaven met Isa (AS) and Yahya (AS)
  • 3rd Heaven met Yusuf (AS)
  • 4th Heaven met Idris (AS)
  • 6th Heaven met Haroon (AS)
  • 6th Heaven met Musa (AS)
  • 7th Heaven met Ibrahim (AS)
  • Baitul Ma’mur
  • Sidrat Al-Muntaha (Where 50 prayers were enjoined on him, then reduced to 5.)
  • What is Baitul Ma’mur?

  • It is a house, which is located in the 7th heaven, directly above the Kaaba (Allah’s house). Angels perform the tawaf of this house as we do around the Kaaba during Hajj and Umrah, the Kaaba on the earth is the replica of it. The 70,000 angels visit this house daily and say their prayers as well as it will continue until the day of Judgement. Best Dua For Travelling – To Have Safe Journey

Dua For TravellingIslam is a wonderful and practical religion that provides perfect guidance and methods for humans to spend their lives. The life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the best example for us to act upon. It is also sunnah for us Muslims to act upon his teachings.

Dua For Travelling

One of the best things about Islam is that we have dua almost everything. From eating, sitting, sleeping, and even traveling. There can be many benefits for us to recite duas.

Benefits Of Dua For Travelling

Whenever a Muslim travels or steps out of the home for a journey, whether it is a short distance or long distance traveling, we recite some duas. So we can have a safe journey and receive the blessings of Almighty Allah.

  1. If a person recites dua for traveling, then the Angels protect you while you get back home.
  2. Reciting dua when traveling can save an individual from incidents that one has never imagined.
  3. By reciting dua, a person is more likely to perform good deeds and have a positive day ahead.
  4. Allah grants the traveler ease in his journey.
  5. Reciting duas leads towards blessings from Allah.

Hundreds of thousands of people usually die because of traffic accidents in bikes, cars, planes, etc., all across the world, so traveling can be quite fatal. As we grew up, we have heard about a lot of plane crashes and other dangerous events. So we need to seek help from Allah to stay protected and safe, and he is the only one who can protect us from dangerous hazards and accidents.

We must also try our best to minimize our traveling unless it is necessary or urgent as Muslims. We need to recite duas more often so we can stay blessed and safe from the curse of shaitan at the same time.

Other duas:

Dua for Laylatul Qadr That Every Muslim Should Recite

Laylatul Qadr is an important night, in Quran, there is a surah related to this night. Dua for Laylatul Qadr is important for this night.

In accordance with the Holy Qur’an, Laylatul Qadr, i.e. the Night of Power is “better than a thousand months” (97:3). Any form of prayer that would be followed on this night, such as, remembering Allah, reciting the Holy Qur’an and other more is better than the rest of those thousand months excluding the night of Qadr.

    Dua for Laylatul Qadr

    Our Holy Prophet (PBUH) used to follow devoted prayers in these last ten days i.e. the last Ashra of Ramadan, then at any other time throughout the year (Muslim). May Allah shower His peace and blessing upon Prophet Aisha (R.A.), She once stated that;

Just follow your real need that you want to be fulfilled from Allah (SWT). Make long Duas as Allah loves to listen to us, irrespective of what you need.

You can follow a charitable act too. That would highly benefit you. Every other good act followed now would also reward you heavily as you are doing it for more than 83 years.

Forgiveness Dua to Pray on Laylatul Qadr Night

Furthermore, we are required to have a focused mind in terms of avoiding idle talk, playing games, watching TV or spending time on social platforms during these blessed nights. Everyone is suggested to to follow any necessary improvements to move towards becoming a better Muslim

A Reminder For All The Worlds – Quran

    What’s the Quran?

Ever thought? It is not just a book. Creation does not write it. It is the world of Allah. When you have a love letter from your loved one, how will you read it?

Probably with a smile on your face.

The Quran is a love letter from the most loving. The blessed reminder. The light was sent to the world when it was full of darkness. Mercy from the most merciful. It is a cure from the one who cures. Guidance from the one who guides. It’s a book full of wisdom, from the All-wise. Every ayah of the Quran has wisdom. It is the criterion, which probably most of us ignore.

Do you have a relationship with the Quran?

If not, and you want to have a relationship with the Quran(You should), a piece of advice from me would be that taking baby steps first. For example, start reading 1 page daily. Don’t plan first steps to be big, instead take baby steps. Because gradually, it may seem like a burden.

Tips for those who have a relationship with the Quran and want to improve and for those who don’t have a relationship with the Quran but want to have:

When you recite it, remember you are in an intimate conversation with Allah azzajawal, he is talking to you. Hear your recitation nicely when you recite.

    • The time when you are reciting the Quran, that’s a moment of love between you and Allah. Because when you recite the Quran-Allah loves it.
    • Try to recite the Quran beautifully.
    • You should have a consistent relationship. You should not open the Quran only once a week, month, or a year but daily.
    • Reflect upon the Quran because it was sent to be reflected upon.
    • Understanding the Quran: The Quran is in four parts in meaning.

This means that a part of the Quran is straightforward to understand, for example, the first ayah of surah ikhlas. And there is a part which almost everybody can learn. And there’s a part of the Quran which only scholars can know, and there’s a part of the Quran which only Allah alone knows. While you are created, the Quran is uncreated, so how can a created thing ever understand an uncreated thing?

Always remember you will never be able to understand the Quran fully. So when you read, for example, the translation and tafsir of one ayah, could you not say I understood this ayah?

Here are some keys to understanding the Quran:

    1. Love the Quran

If I ask you, do you love the Quran, you are probably going to say yes. But let’s check if that claim is true or not. Think about someone whom you love or something you love. Let’s take our favorite food!

Now, think, how do you feel about your really favourite food?

    • You miss it.
    • You don’t get bored with it.

And there are perhaps many more feelings that you know yourself!

Now, apply this to the Quran, do you miss the Quran?

    • How many times do you miss the Quran in a day?
    • Do you not get bored when reciting the Quran?

Most probably, your answer to both questions is going to be no. And perhaps the other feelings that you have for your really favorite food, you don’t have it for the Quran.

    But Allah can do anything!

Ask Allah to make you love his words.

Move the relationship with the Quran to a relationship of love.

2)To have goals – what do I need from the Qur’an?

Remember-I wants to learn what I want to apply. What do you want from the Quran?

Perhaps guidance in your day-to-day activities.

Think about it and then look for it in the Quran. And alhamdulillah nowadays we need to search about something we want from the Quran, and we have the ayah on our screen!

There’s a really good website,alhumdulillah-Quran.com, you can search there, for example, if you search patience, you will have certain verses of the Quran which have something about patience in them, Insha Allah.

    3. Practice it

Practice the Quran in your life. It’s a big thing and also most probably difficult most of the time. But it pleases Allah. You get to get closer to your real master
