Hazrat Umar (R.A) Life History
Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA) is the second caliph of Islam. He is the most prominent companion of Hazrat Mohammad (SAW). He led a very simple life. He ate a very simple food.
When Hazrat Umar RA was born
Hazrat Umar (RA) was born in around 580 A.D, Hazrat Umar (RA) belonged to Adi tribe of Quraish in Makkah.
He was approximately 10 years younger than the Holy Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) and both also shared the same ancestors. Because Hazrat Umar (RA) also belonged to Adi tribe of Quraysh in Makkah.

Early Life:-
Hazrat Umar (RA) was a non-Muslim initially but converted to Islam later. His father name was Khattab.The title of “Al-Farooq” was given to Him for the cost of distinguishes the right from the wrong. His Youth time
Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA) was a well-known famous wrestler, debater, and a spirited person in his youth time.
Life before Islam
Hazrat Umar (RA) belonged to the Adi family of Quraish. It was the time when the Holy Prophet Mohammad (SAW) received the revelation and started inviting people towards Islam, all the leaders of Quraish were assembled planning for the assassination of Hazrat Mohammad (SAW).
By that time Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA) was also present there. Hazrat Umar (RA) offered himself for this job and everybody favored that he is the right person and he can do such kind of job because he has capabilities for doing such kind of job.
Acceptance Of Islam
When Hazrat Umar (RA) went off for the assassination of Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) (God forbid), Learn more about Hazrat Muhammad SAW he was on the way that he came to know about embracing of Islam by his sister and brother and law from Sa’ad bin Abi Waqqas.He went straight to his sister’s house and found his sister reciting the verses of the Holy Quran.
First he punished his sister but later on He became soft hearted towards her and said please let me see but his sister refused and said you will not touch the verses of the Holy Quran until you take a bath, finally he took a bath and said please let me see. By that time Hazrat Habab (RA) was also there.
When He saw such kind of situation, he said to Hazrat Omer (RA)! That he heard Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) asking the Almighty ALLAH (SWT) about granting the companionship of either Hazrat Umar Ibn Al Khattab or Abu Jahl..Then He (RA) asked where the Mohammad (SAW) was, and finally embraced Islam at the hands of Hazrat Mohammad
In 622 A.D, The Lord Of The World Ordered the Muslims to migrate from Makkah immediately so that the Muslims could be saved from tortures of the Makkah disbelievers. It was the time of great fear because Muslims thought that they would be oppressed if non-Muslims had come to know about their migration.
Everyone was on the go in migrating towards Medina quietly apart from the brave Omar (RA),who after performing Namaz in Kaaba, openly declared his endeavor in front of all and invited to stop him if they could dare to do so.
Then the great Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) said regarding the incomparable confidence of Hazrat Umar (RA) in the given under mentioned words:
” I see that devil either from humans or jinn, runs away from Umar”.(Tirimzi).
Assassination
Hazrat Umar (RA) was assassinated by a Persian non-Muslim named Feroz.He stabbed Hazrat Umar (RA), as a result of which he passed away three days later on Ist of Muharram.
Simply Hazrat Umar (RA) is the role model for every believer. He was a great example of Justice, principles, piety, humility and character. Hazrat Umar (RA) performed all his duties whether personal or professional with all his due diligence and He established the greatest example for upcoming people regarding every aspect especially when He was a Caliph.
Migration from Makkah to Medina
